"Are you in earnest? Seize this very minute! Boldness has genius, power, and magic in it. Only engage, and then the mind grows heated. Begin, and then the work will be completed". -John Anster

In the section Create YOUR Extraordinary Life, the focus was mainly on the “big picture” aspect of your life plan. What are the important goals you want to achieve over your life time? What are your big dreams? What does an extraordinary life mean to you?

In the section, "Where Can I Learn More", I introduced you to methods of understanding your self, how you think, and how you respond to life. If you took any of the tests, or have been a good observer of yourself, you will be familiar with your strengths, your interests, and how you think and respond to life. This section is also “big picture” as you would have learnt about your personality that you have had from birth, plus your life experiences along the way.

In this section I want to talk more about the different areas of your life that all add up to a balanced life. These areas are your finances, career, family and friends, physical, psychological and spiritual health. Who you are affects how you approach each of these areas, but it is important that you do manage each of them to achieve your best life. Each of us will find some areas easier to focus on than others. That can result in imbalances such as an overweight workaholic, who loves his work and has great satisfaction in that area, but is not paying attention to other areas of his life.

Once you have your big picture clear, you will need to set goals to achieve your dreams. These goals need to be designed to be achievable and compatable with your day to day life. Having a baby and conquering Mount Everest would probably not happen in the same year. (Especially if you are the baby's mother!). Keeping a balance in your life is also going to contribute to your long term satisfaction with your whole life. If you decided to save the whales, and also decided to have a family, your children should know you better than the whales.

By the end of this group of articles, I aim to have given you some ideas on what areas you need to consider for a full, and satisfying life. Your comments are welcome, I am sure people will appreciate your ideas and experiences, so please head on down to the comment box.

Have a wonderful day.
